The first step is to initiate dialog, discuss the scope of the portrait and determine the price. I will do my best to accommodate both your budget and vision.
1.) You may have a favorite photograph that you would like to be made into a portrait,
you may mail me a hard copy of the photograph (minimum size should be 8"x10") or e-mail it to me for review ( JPEG file with 925 or more pixels per inch resolution or close to ).
The resolution of the photograph should be clear enough for me to see the features of the subject/subjects, since the better the quality the photo is, the better quality the painting will be.
If the photo is not acceptable, you will be notified as soon as possible.
2.) A deposit of 1/2 of the total is required with a signed contract.
3.) I will then send you a preliminary sketch of the portrait (any changes of the portrait or layout should be considered at this stage.)
4.) Upon approval, delivery arrangements will be made.
5.) I will start working on the final painting (it usually takes 1 month to complete)
6.) The balance is due when the completed portrait is delivered and accepted by client.
Framing cost's and shipping fee's are additional, as well as optional.
Please feel free to contact me to receive an estimate or for any other questions you might have.
